from the first date of dispatch and not the earlier date of order.
The guarantee covers against mechanical fault. this does not include the following: -Overwinding of the mainspring -Backwinding whilst changing the time -Submersion in water -Willfull damage and abuse -Rough, overvigorous or sporting activities -Interference, alteration or dismantaling of the movement and any or all internal parts and any integeral bracelet N.B. if treated with care and respect a vintage watch will offer many years of loyal service. It is recomended that you have your watch serviced every 1-2 years depending on how often you use it, and dismantled and cleaned every3-5 years When winding some vintage watches they sometimes don't start to run straight away, to remedy this simply give a gentle shake and that should wake it up and free the movement. Vintage watches generally do not have the same degree of accuracy as modern watches, therefore slightly slow or fast running is a common feature and not a fault. Between one and two minutes a day is an accetable tolerance for some watches IMPORTANT. Vintage watches by their very nature will show signs of ware and use, and whilst we will take care to provide as much detail in our description, please be aware that none of our watches will be in brand new or perfect condition.
