| Rare vintage Omega cal. 23.4 SC stainless steel gents wristwatch |
|
Superb vintage 1937 cal 23.4 SC Omega small stainless steel gent's wristwatch.
This delightful little man's Omega is a good early piece. The rugged heavy three part case is solid stainless steel
with its original flush fitting winding crown, it has a fine network of age relaited scratches which are not offencive and
are part of its character, I have not been tempted to remove and polish these out. The glass or crystal has been replaced
with a new-old-stock low dome mineral glass that is as near to an exact period match that you could not distinguish
it from the original.
The movement is a military grade manual wind 15 jewel calibre 23.4 SC and is in fine working
order, just a couple of turns of the winding crown and it starts instantly. The serial number is 8676785 and the inside
cover serial number is 9184043.
The dial has been professionally re-coated and printed retaining its original hands
and hour markers, the second hand may have lost its tip. It is currently fitted with a non-Omega stap and buckle.
Overall this is a fine quality watch that looks lovely.

it is a nice looking piece. F.W.O

Lovely solid 18ct gold 1950/60's vintage Jules Jurgensen gent's square wristwatch.
This lovely watch is very stylish and retro both as an everday piece or a dress watch. The thin case is of heavy gauge
gold and weighs a respectable 10.8 grams. The movement is a quality 17 jewel manual wind fully signed Jules Jurgensen
Corp. and is in full working order. The leather strap is a replacement but retains its original buckle, there
is a scratch to the crystal at the moment, however, this will be polished out prior to dispatch. The case has a few
tiny knocks that are inoffensive and just age relaited, the dial has a very fine line indentation running from the centre
down to 6 o,clock but is not that visable and has not cut through the silvered finish.

| Vintage 1970's Swiss Tugaris automatic stainless steel wristwatch |
|
Fine vintage 1970's Swiss Tugaris automatic stainless steel gent's wristwatch.
Dating from around 1972-5 this make of watch is hardly heard of but is a truly high calibre and very high quality watch.
The case is heavy high grade stainless steel and comes with its original solid stainless steel bracelet with its Tugaris stamped
clasp.
The movement is a 17 jewel automatic that is of superb quality and build, with a quiet free-running rotor
that doesn't rattle or wobble against the inside of the back as some cheap auto's do. It runs on 5 bearings
similar to an Eterna-matic and keeps very good time. This watch is comparable to many bigger name makers of
the same period for build, performance and quality. Certainly a lot of watch for the money, overall this piece is in
super condition with a beautiful dial that has one tiny pin point spot just above 11 o'clock-bearly visable.
The date ring is unusual because the dates are printed alternately in red and black.

| Very rare c,1900-1910 solid 14ct gold Lady's full hunter wristwatch by Jean Perret & cie. |
|
Very rare c,1900-1910 solid 14ct gold Lady's full hunter wristwatch by Jean
Perret & cie. This is a rare piece indeed and is a very early true wristwatch and not a pocket watch conversion.
Made by Jean Perret et cie Geneve Switzerland who are still a family run independent company, the movement is a
10 jewel manual stem wind that keep pretty good time and is working well. The font cover, back cover an dust cover
are all hallmarked 14kt and have the Swiss squirrel mark.
The condition:- remembering that this is a very
rare delicate little watch that is around 100years old!
The case is pretty good in general but for accuracy I will
describe everything that I can-the front cover is engraved with a vacant garter cartouche on an all over engine turned design
that only has the smallest amount of wear to edge and the tinniest of knocks with very fine scratches that are hardly visable,
the back is also in very good condition. The hinge has a slight split at the side and the front cover is raised slightly
because of this but still shuts well and shows only the smallest gap that you can hardly see. There is a tiny dent to
the side at 2 o'clock. The front cover is opened by pressing in the winding crown, this originally would have sprung
open but the tip of the spring has worn off.
The dial has a small chip to the very edge between 9 and 10 o'clock,
there has been some restoration in the form of fine grinding around the edge of the enamel which is more noticable at 3 o'clock
by the winding crown, there are no cracks. The hands are very delicately cast and set with a diamond each, they are
in fine condition.
In general I should say these are very minor points commensurate with its age and certainly
makes it sound worse than it is. This is a very fine delicate watch that has survived very well and certainly looks as
rare and unusual as it is and would make a super evening watch. Many more pictures are available upon request.

Vintage Gents stainless steel 1950's cal 420 gents Omega wristwatch. Quality
vintage Omega fitted with a cal 420 17 jewel manual wind movement in fine working condition serial number 13019060.
The Staybrite case is all stainless steel and is good condition with typical age scratches and patination. The original
two-tone dial does have an overall age bloom with patches of blistering (unfortunately this is a common fault of 50's
Omega's), I have not been tempted to have this one re-painted as I don't consider it to be bad enough, however, please
study the close up photo. Sometimes this sort of aging can add character, I will leave that up to the individual to
decide. The winding crown is original and unusual as there is a three pointed star emblem inside the omega emblem-not
sure what this signifies. Fitted with a non Omega strap. Overall I think this is a great little Omega.
